Foreign countries and awards

Valašský Vojvoda have been awarded many prominent prizes, both in the Czech Republic and abroad, Let´s mention at least some of them:

1992 - Poland - IFF Ziem Górskich in Zakopane

  • The silver sheep hook at the programme "Jaro v Beskydech" in the category of art groups
  • The second place in the competition of men´s jump "odzemek"
  • The prize of the journalists and publicists
  • The prize of the cymbalon music at musical and singing show
  • The first prize during the International Folklore Festival in Brezsk (part of the festival Zakopane)
  • Recording for the broadcast and television Warszawa and Krakow

1995 - Turkey - Bursa - The general appreciation of the audience and special jury

1996 - Poland - Beskidy highlanders´ week of culture - Wisla, Žywiec

  • The prize at the excellent etnographic programme 2001 - Poland - IFF Ziem Górskich in Zakopane
  • The bronze sheep hook at the programme "Vojna a svatební veselí" in the category of art groups
  • Recording for the Warszawa, Katowice and Krakow television

2002 - Ukraine - Rivne - Koljada - 9th international festival of Slavic Christmas habits. The prize of the special jury, 

2002 - France - the laureate of the International Festival in Gannat,

2004 - Czech republic - 59th International Folklore Festival Strážnice, The title of the laureate festival in Strážnice was given to the solo singer Petra Žáčková and girls´ singing group at the excellent vocalic show

2008 - Poland - 45th Beskidy highlanders´ week of culture

2008 - Poland - 45th Beskidy highlanders´ week of culture - Wisla, Žywiec - Tradycyjny sklad kapeli i utrzymanie we wlaściwym stylu wykonawczym muzyki i Śpiewu

2010 - Czech republic - International Folklore Festival Strážnice - The title of the laureate festival in Strážnice

2013 - Armenia (Yerevan) - the International foklore festival

2015 - Republic of Korea - Cheonan world dance festival - International Folk Dance Competition - Encouragment prize - For a convincing performance of authentic folklore

2017 - Peru (Lima) - the International folklore festival Mi Peru
